Circle K sought out GSP’s design, production and project management skills for when it was time to renovate their store.
CHALLENGE
These complex projects involve a lot of organization and collaboration among various specialized contractors for debranding, installation, plumbers, electrical, HVAC, painting, lighting, fountain installation, and more. It’s a lot for a project manager to communicate among parties.
SOLUTION
AccuStore’s Virtual Store Walkthrough begins the process. It’s a digital scan of a store’s interior and exterior, and it provides a visual catalog of a store’s structure. It records dimensions of critical spaces, windows, doorways and infrastructure and appliances. The virtual store walkthrough provides a shareable foundation for the contractors to see and use as a planning tool.
In any renovation, it’s always the last 10 percent of the projects that cause the most frustration. AccuStore’s Survey App makes this simple. The project manager creates a photographic punchlist to share with contractors to better understand each task to be completed. With annotations that can include measurements and other info, this simplifies communications between the project manager and the contractors.
